Genevieve is a designer, maker, and researcher. While attending N.C. State University’s Graduate Program for Industrial Design, she focused her studies on responsible design and dedicated her thesis to sustainable footwear. To Genevieve, responsible design encompasses far more than sustainable material; this design process also considers the supply chain and manufacturing processes used to produce the product and the product's end-of-life. Her work demonstrates a tremendous dedication to social and environmental impact, and her experiences – a compilation of courses, apprenticeships, internships, and independent research – position her well to create in any space and to push beyond today’s status quo.
